Hogweed is irritating but not too bad, giant hogweed is a different ball game

So I think its these buggers? Not sure if these are hogweed or small giant hogweed. At least i know the difference with cow parsley now!

there not good and poisonus but not the giant hogweed .it dont flower till they get quite large

Ah, Ok! That might explain why I have tiny blisters - some of the pictures of the reaction some people have had look like a horrific reaction. Are these just normal (not giant) hogweed then? These are about 18 inches to 2ft high.

probably . i get loads in my small back field off the railway embankment sometimes just slash them down then go over the lot with roundup and sbk. i never touch them

Yes and stuff like queen Ann’s lace is very similar
