Many years ago a colleague at work decided to use an airline on the easibleed during some lunchtime car maintenance.
Unfortunately, he did not know the wall mounted regulator he connected to was stuck fully open......
When we were **** poor country bumbkin kids, as opposed to old country bumpkins now, we used to have a pot under the bed. The last user had to slide it back under the bed, otherwise when you got up in the morning you would tread on its edge an tip it up. Urine dripping down through the ceiling in the kitchen first thing in the morning was never a good start...

My friend's brother in-law proposed me a Diana 4.5mm airgun for 180 euro optic included.
I'm kinda thinking about buying it .
I do prefer Gamo by the way.
Let's see how things go it's an expense I could avoid.

Its now late so Ive got a £1 voucher off my next bit of Chinese tat. Im quite sure the bottle will be worth 43p. if it arrives...

Left there.
I went to have a look at it on this morning.
Abandoned in a field under the rain.
I've took with me some tools to take it apart and load it easier in the van.
It doesn't look so bad, and it's not that big either probably 200kg machine.
2 speeds so 400V only not a big of a problem.
Separate electric coolant pump.
Lumpy cast iron base.
Double miter capability (you can rotate both the vise and cutting head)
Unfortunately I've had a look at the wirings most of the wires are cooked off with no left insulation.
Quick insulation test at 1kV gave 500 ohms the engine is most likely shot.
Not a problem too but 150 euro for essentially a piece of cast iron is too much, considering the fact it needs a complete restoration and a 180 euro new blade ed the one installed is broke in half.
Too much work for the price

That's what i'm about to do in the next days.
Not right now otherwise I'll not get the price I want.
And if he sold it before I wouldn't be afraid of that cause it's not worth even for scrap
50 or 60 euro is the limit

After various attempts filling up a broken edge on an aluminum part belonging a YouTube Restoration project, I'm kinda focused on getting an AC DC Tig welder.
Problem is I can't justify the cost of a proper one.
I've made a little research and there are few options on imported machines but I'm not sure yet as I've only used Tig welders which costs more than 2000 euro.
Someone would say that having little bit of experience I might be able to have the same results but not sure yet.
Time to make a thread.

Hey there, apologies for picking up an old thread but I'm shopping for a phone at the moment & wondering how you got on with this phone?The way I buy things make me unable to post much over here...
Mainly online auctions, used single pieces items, showing them before I get theme will drastically reduce the probability I manage to get them.
Anyway I need a new phone, my 7 years old trusty Huawei mate 10 lite is starting to give up on battery, I destroyed the main microphone blowing out dust with shop air, and the screen is all cracked....
Despite that it never crashed once in 7 years and I couldn't be more happy of it.
It does still do its job but repairing it is pointless, even if it's cheap (roughly 50 euro for battery+screen+charging port and audio interface board)
I can't find Huawei anymore otherwise I knew what to get, they killed their market here after the Google ban .
Went here and there decided to get a Xiaomi Redmi note 13 pro , good enough for my needs, not too expensive so it can still live in my pocket at work (we have no radios, phones are our most technology advanced communication devices in the shop) so if I need help I can call someone .
Not too cheap so I'm not expecting it to fail soon.

Plus it's an upgrade, it has more memory and ram than my actual phone, better camera and it can use modern Android versions than mine.
Which I personally don't care but it's an improvement for my YouTube videos right now, at least until I can get proper video making equipment
Anyway while doing research I think Xiaomi might be Huawei, or Xiaomi bought Huawei something like that cause they have many things in common, Leica cameras for example and other things like the settings interface they use the same order and icons
Same factory app layout like music etc .

Great for my needs.
I'm not a phone guy, no games or particular apps
Enough fast, no problems till now, intuitive and I like it
Pictures and videos you can have a look to my YouTube channel the first video I've recorded using this phone is the Bayer EHS restoration
After that everything is recorded using this phone.

I forgot to mention that my old Huawei had a little LED light that would blink in different colours to indicate various notifications or battery state
This one doesn't have any external indicator and I hate that with all myself.
When you receive a notification the sides of the screen becomes blue for few seconds then nothing you have to unlock the screen to se whatever was.
This is frustrating because it happens that I find a lost call after maybe 3 or 4 hours for example
