Hi, i have been offered a Hypertherm powermax 380, i guess this is an older model?. He wants £650 for it has not had much use. Is this a good price ? as i cant find anything to compare. Thanks Ian
Sounds a bit expensive to me. They sold for about a grand when new. Must be at least 4 years old, so out of warranty. Wouls fetch around £450 on fleabay.

I bought a Powermax 45 last year, an amazing piece of kit, its easy to use and will handle up to 19mm steel. I use it for alloy and stainless plate and if it packed up i would order a second without a second thought.
