Or slowerThe American machines are 60Hz where as ours are normally 50Hz.From experiance the difference in frequency will just make the fan go a bit quicker.
You are right about the Frequency.Radio 2 is a problem though.I could be wrong but the American vids I have watched quite often state (not Hypertherm specific) “ This machine will run from a 110 outlet but to get full power it needs to be hooked up to 220” so our country cousins do use 220 and I’m fairly certain that a hungry Hypertherm will be running on 220 out there not sure how the frequency would effect it tho, maybe it wouldn’t pick up radio 4 ?
A quick email to Hypertherm would clear it up or if you use Facebook you can send them a message and they are very quick to respond.
