Hydrovane 66 diesel road tow compressor

Hi, thanks for letting me join your group
I have a Hydrovane 66 diesel road tow compressor, which has an intermittent engine fault, that I have traced to the lift pump. I'm having some difficulty identifying the engine / model etc, does anyone have any experience of the engine please ?
If I knew what engine it was, I could identify the pump
I'm guessing it's a Perkins ?
Any ideas where I could get a manual for it ?

I cant help you but the guys on here should be able to, but you might want to post some pics of the engine as it may be used else where and be recognised.

I have an old one of these. My one has a Perkins 4108 engine. I got a cd manual off eBay.

engine will have engine numbers stamped on the block casting cant remember where mine are its a 3 cylinder perkins went to the local agent and they gave me all the details for it and and i got a gasket set for it . here https://www.mitchells.co.uk/

Mine had a Fiat D engine.....
If as u say the lift pump is done just get a cheapo electric fuel pump off ebay etc.....
My Komatsu fork lift has been running one of those elec pumps for more than 6 years without fail...a gen replacement is over 200 euro's....
