My query relates to what happens at the centre-off position, in terms of stopping oil, yet still providing oil to other spools in the block.
if you look at the circuit diagram in this link , I can't understand why the centre-off position has a pass-through, AND there's a loop-round for the oil too.
I can't work out how pressure is developed at the output port of say 1, when the oil would appear to be able to just flow down the loop-round.

If you look at the circuit diagram, I'm considering what happens when you have multiple spool valves in one block, and how they operate simultaneously.

There should be an individual one for each spool valve.... but that's what it is!
