Hydraulic Cylinder jacks

Hi i have just bought from auction 2 hydraulic cylinder jacks and manual pump. unfortunately the blue one leeks from around seal and also from the body as pictured. The black one leeks from a small hole when the cylinder is fully extended ( possibly this is normal to stop over exstention ?)
Any ideas on how to strip down and replace seals. will this stop the blue one leaking from the body.
Is there any where that would repair for a sensible price?

The small hole is a path for any oil that has pushed past the seals, to come out the cylinder, so it cannot be compressed in the top half.

You only need a peg spanner and undo the top, pump out the ram and all will be revealed. Small hole that’s weeping is a vent on the non pressure side of the ram which would indicate a leaking main seal.

Extra care may be required if those cylinders have an internal spring to return the piston.

Thanks for all he advice. will have to make a tool to remove gland, on road at mo so bit difficult. will probably need more help when they are apart. cheers for now

Just got moor hydrolick oil. Have taken the top nut off the blue cylinder and pumped it up. it has got to a point where a lot of oil was seeping past seals but will not come out. It is also of center now and i carnt move it. Any ideas

Sounds like you have the spring return type cylinders. Unscrew the charge pipe from the cylinder and you will see the spring retaining screw inside the cylinder, undo this and the spring will be released, might be a bit of a ballache now the thing is extended.
