Hi,
The usual PU sealant I buy, Puraflex 40 from Tool Station, has been discontinued. It seems that PU sealants are becoming less and less available and 'Hybrid' sealants are taking its place.
I google searched hybrid sealants which told me: 'A Hybrid sealant combines the best properties of silicone (excellent weathering and UV resistance) and polyurethane (durability, adhesion, and paintability) into a single, high-performance product, often called an MS polymer sealant'.
So, is a hybrid sealant, such as Silkaflex EBT+, suitable to use instead of a regular PU sealant, on chassis / seam sealing? Hopefully yes as I have half a tube of hybrid sealant, and a very tiny amount of seam sealing to do.
Thanks
