Just finishing the evening off with a couple of corned beef and onion doorsteps and more beer followed by a packet of Shortcake (The Fruity One).
Luckily I'm sleeping on my own!
Cold beef, raw onion, salt, doesn't get much better than that in a sandwhich.Corded beef and raw onion in crusty rolls - proper food!
I just had strong chedder/mayo/raw onion and a couple of wilted lettuce leaves in a sandwich with a cup of tea.
Supper - being one of my four meals a day breakfast/lunch/dinner/supper.

Excuse me, I forgot the horseradish.Cold topside of beef with horseradish in soft white bread or egg/mayo/watercress. Are my favourites.
Everybody is so anti "carbs" now.
I love bread and potatoes - "the staff of life"
Excuse me, I forgot the horseradish.
Couldn't agree more.
Don't forget the onion, and salt though.
For the last two / three months I've been having lunch at work, although I only live 5 miles away, I've halved my diesel expenses by having lunch at work.Another good one is - tin of sardines smashed up with fork and sliced raw tomato in a sandwich.
Cost of living crisis in UK the tomato costs more than the 50p tin of sardines nearly.

Could the aluminum can have a surface treatment/coating (besides the label/ink) that could limit conductivity? Maybe scour the surface with a scotchbrite pad or something? With this one, thinking if I open up the bottom of the beer can and expose it to the electrolyte, that might help?
Loved that.We won't go into my tuna tin solar collector experiments. Showed huge promise until the big corporations paid me to stop working on it...
