Hunting/bushcraft biased multi tools

Looking for a leather man type tool designed for hunting/bushcraft type use.

I like the idea of having the pliers/wire cutters but there is no need for screwdrivers and bottle openers when out hunting...wondering if there is anything anyone can suggest. No real need for there to be a straight blade on I think either as I alsways have a knife with me.

I've no idea what I would want on it really hence why I want to see what's available

Credit card, you can hunt down most things with it, even elephant if your credit limit is big enough

How about a pair of these, they are fencing pliers or fencing tool depending.
They won't be as expensive as those Leatherman thingies.

Coleman do/ did this multi tool, you could buy extra cartridges with the tools you want. Not quite as well made as the leatherman tools but functional

Years ago i did a bushcraft day with Ray mears, great day out! He asked what tools people had bought & there was a great array of expensive stuff. He then produced a Stone hand axe & said, "For 99% of human history this was the peak of technology" Kind of put it into perspective!

Just googled the Coleman, they don't make it anymore. A rare tool by all accounts, they stopped making them after fighting a legal battle with leatherman

my favoret multi tool is a big heavy knife. can opener filed into the one side of blade allong with a few other usefull notches, with a hollow handel and screw cap end.

Sounds like you need a leatherman clone. Ive got one made by Stanley that's got all the usual features, pliers have been the most usefull and I think it only cost about 12 quid a few years ago
