Side brushes, yeah. Just what I need to complete draft exclusion on my rollup door. I attached rubber backed carpet to a batten and installed it on the header over the door. Thanks for the tip about brushes being available at Screwfix. Here are some photos of my solution for eliminating overhead draft.

Thanks for that yes you had a good idea there with the carpet.

My roller shutter and ceiling are not ideal for the carpet idea though so I'm trying to fit a brush draught excluder along this gap externally which should be effective.

Trouble is this is not going to be easy and involves grinding lots of render out of the way, making bracket tabs and arc welding overhead which I haven't done before

Wet here also today and restful to, I may have sprained my wrist hitting to many balls Golf ones. Girlfriends here but looooves to read hence allowing me to be on here. Back to work tomorrow afternoon

There's another 3 stops left in that, you scattercash. Was there any pad left ? Las time I saw one like that was on Otto's NTV650, he swore blind he never used the back brake.

I had thought about throwing it in the lathe....

I've just fitted only the second set of rear brake pads since I bought the bike, 56,000 miles ago.

There was still some life left in the ones I've taken out too.

Started with a homemade bacon & egg Mcmuffin or two then onto rejigging the guttering between the garage and house so it looks and works better that then lead onto having a tidy up which then lead onto swapping over my old knackered filing cabinet to a newer one. Then I filled the Surf up to the roof with more rubbish etc to take to the tip. Some lunch then watch Endeavor in TV and now I'm about to cook some Fajitas for everyone. I'll have a rest at work tomorrow...

Back from Meadowhell……after meeting up with grand kids…..a great time with them, lunch then shopping and a visit to the Lego shop….

Not ran across them yet. I have a numbered list with just a rough note of container content. Most of the cans are now behind boxes and furniture, so not readily accessible; but I haven't forgotten you.

Spent this afternoon taking off every removable part from a new woodburner that was delivered Friday so I could get it into the house. 120kgs doesn't sound that bad but over a door step up two steps and around two 90° turns takes some doing.
