It was the accurate curves that got me without seeing an obvious boundary line . I suppose there is a very precise heat shroud / sink fitted over ?

i've zoomed in on the pics and to me it looks like it's just a hammer and chisel maybe with heat as well. the boundary line is chiseled in. look on the website at the other bells an awful lot of money for what is just a cylinder cap with a washer welded on

I've had a quick look (I can't zoom right in), but if I wanted to duplicate that texture, I'd use a range of (repousse??? style) punches/chisels in the flypress, and do it one divot at a time.

I've been thinking how I'd do this and I reckon i'd burn them in with oxy/propane with a welding nozzle on the torch, you'd have a lot more control than with a plasma cutter.
