We're busy as in long hours and lots of stress trying to make up lost ground after a proper battering in the last year. I haven't totalled up the cost, 'considerable' will do.
I know of a few businesses who are barely clinging on, a couple who've gone under, a few that will soon, and some who've never done better. Loads have changed what they do, the way they do it, and a few who have said "stuff it" and gone for early/partial retirement. Hopefully the growth the 'experts' are predicting will help, but it looks like a long road ahead for many.
