Howdy from Scunthorpe

Hi guys and girls,

I'm Steve, 25 from Scunthorpe.

Looking to get started in welding, as I've been quoted prices for small jobs and they're just through the roof, even when I do all of the prep work.

Never used a welder before, but would like to give it a bash so I can save my car from Car Heaven.

Hi,

me too, but I made my decision in '88. Before that I'd lost a couple of good cars due to a couple of hundred pounds worth of welding for MOTs.

Welcome to the forum. Have you had a good look around? Read the tutorials?

Have you got a welder yet?

Welcome to the best welding forum in the world !!! ,ive not been on here long , but the advise given has been very helpfull,read other people's recommendations on what welder to get and you wont go far wrong,if you do go wrong there's always plenty of help on here.
