A work colleague asked if I could make this part for an old Spanish shotgun:
the shaft part has sheared off, looks like brittle failure.
The thread is M3 and the part is 2.4mm thick!
Struggling to think how I could make this as the parts are so thin, particularly the shaft with the M3 thread, never mind how to hold it?
Or worth trying welding and grind back to size? Seems too delicate a part to me.
I have a Harrison M300, A Tom Senior and Centec mill, struggling to think of a way to make this bar hacksaw and file from a plate which will be very time consuming.
The shaft with the M3 thread is not round, it has flats top and bottom, tempted to just say sorry not one for me.
