Ok I have to make a few tops for pheasant feeders, the squirrels and deer ate the plastic ones. So I will cut out 18" or so thin sheet circles, but how, without the correct tool can I turn the outside inch or two up so they resemble a jam jar lid but on a much bigger scale.
I have a wood lathe so could make some sort of former and hammer them. Am I missing a simple solution, they don't need to be pretty just practical, I cant cut then bend in sections as they need to hold water.
