How to wire this Motor.

I got this 2hp, 2 pole 240V motor for a project.
This is the size and spec I was advised would be required.

But no instructions were included on how to wire it up.

The connections.

I have emailed the supplier, but they are not open untill 09:30 monday.

I am needing what terminals I need to connect too and can it be made to run CW or CCW?

Check on the underside of the cover, sometimes the connection diagrams are moulded in to it

Live connection to one of the terminals with the brass link and neutral to the other.

If the direction is incorrect move the brass links 90 degrees


Then still connect live to one brass link and neutral to the other

Have you looked inside the cover to that terminal box?

When I said there are no instructions there are no instructions.

You should use some motor protection too….not just a fuse in the plug…
