Whenever i need to leave plywood over night outdoors which is regular i cut the sheets in half (4ft sq)after marking them for a matched pair and they stay flat...saves the customer questioning the quality when he wakes up to ten 8x4 propellers up against his wall
I agree. The quality leaves something to be desired. I wasn't happy with the first couple of sheets they delivered - very knotty and smothered in filler - I had them changed for new ones. Slightly better, but I've had better from B&Q in the past. Is it possible to get decent ply I can make furniture from?
It's from a local supplier. I don't know what grade it is. It simply sold as construction grade exterior.
If its some of that Chinese ply it wouldn't be the warping I would worry about, I would be more concerned about it de-laminating, especially it it got wet!
The only ply to use for a decent quality job is genuine Scandinavian Birch ply.
Why acre lane timber?
I'm near Croydon. Brixton's a bit far to go for wood. And i don't have a van. I bought local due to free delivery. The service is good too. Plenty of other independent merchants around here should I need it, also jewson, selco etc.
