How to remove this dent from 0.5mm stainless

My instinct would be to weld and buff and regrain

Is it the back of a weld ?

Its a dent from the peg on the removable hard top hitting the panel which sits above the windscreen, I tried knocking it out from the other side with a pointy hammer but it did not budge.

I'd try a wood chase wedge to work it out.

sorry had assumed it was box section without access to the back, and on my phone it just looked like a small divot. you might knock it out by chasing it with a wedge, i wouldnt use heat tho as chances are itll make the job worse
