Hi there,
I've just moved into a new house and inherited a "Standard" Aga converted over from solid fuel to oil. I want to love it but it carbons up and goes out every 4 weeks!! Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?
Other info:
- When we moved in we had it serviced.
- I've checked the flow rates.
- When it goes out I clean out the burner and the B tube and re light it. There is a lot of solid black debris in the hole.
- It comes up to temp beautifully and stays there... until it doesn't
- It doesn't have an electric head or thermostat, temp adjustment is done manually on the flow box.
- When we were serviced the technician said that our oil tank might be a bit on the low side low.
Ideas?
