How to build my own gas bottle

Jon from norway here. Just buyed a new mig-machine ang now i need a cheap gas-bottle. I allready have the regulator for the gas

Im diving so i have a old diving-bottle that i want to make an adapter so i can fill it up with mison-18 gas from a big bottle at work.

So my question is also:
I know many guys do it this way but have not found any information where and how to do this

So what am looking for is

-adapter from my diving-bottle to my argon/mison-regulator, maybe a link on ebay??

- adapters to connect between two argon-bottle so i can take gas from a big bottle. Maybe a link at ebay?

can the diving bottle hold the pressure of the big bottle

Ok I think its time to take a step back and have a proper think!

Transfilling bottles is a very dangerous operation that needs lots of understanding and training not to mention equipment that can deal with the very high pressures involved in the process. Plus is the bottle you intend to use rated for the pressure and gas type involved? (Which it won't be as its designed for air not other gases that might have adverse effect)

What if someone tried to breathe from a bottle labelled "air" and it was filled with Argon?

The bottle van handle the pressure tested at 245bar. And i will paint and mark this bottle very good. Its just for me to buy parts that can handle the pressure.

So i cant see the problem

Decanting gas is dangerous, divers do it, welders don't, which is why we will never advise it on here and why threads of this nature ALWAYS get locked so as to prevent daft people getting daft ideas.

Simple as that, now mind the doors please.
