How to access the for sale section.

Hi all. I'm a recent new member and have posted a couple of threads now. can't access or find the for sale section, I can only find the wanted section. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to have a minimum post count and IIRC have been a member for a certain amount of time.

The reason you can't find it as your post count isn't high enough I would think. Just keep posting good content as you're doing now and it'll become available soon enough

No problems. It's to reduce the inevitable people who would come on, flog a welder and then make no more posts. That's fine if this was Exchange and Mart for welders but as it's an actual community it's not as cool. Delaying new folks access to the FS section a wee bit stops it from happening and encourages folk to stick around and actually contribute and take part in the forum as a whole

Everyone can get into the "Wanted" section from the word go. That's to let folk who have just joined and are looking for a first welder to post an ad asking for one.

Just checked out your site/Facebook - Kirby Lonsdale - my FIL is from there. Small world

I'm actually based in Preston but do a lot of work in Kirby Lonsdale. Did you check my business Facebook page? Just wondering if you accessed it ok as I've been having a lot of problems with it of late.

Googled your name as it was nice and unique Found your website (www.maverickmetalwork.co.uk) and followed the link on it to your Facebook at www.facebook.com/Maverickmetalwork/ Both links worked fine for me on Firefox latest.

I wish I knew how to start a new post. I read and reply but never worked out how. I've been around a while and given away some items people were looking for gratis, including a whole fly press and stand to a good home but it would be nice to make other contributions.
