Just about to buy myself a welder for mainly jobs that need doing when building motorcycle specials, i used to do a fair bit of welding when i was a maintenance engineer but have never needed to since, but i have seen two welders locally and they may go fairly cheap but i need to know what they are worth and are they any good, one is a Omega 210 ac/dc tig and the other is a Kempi 1701, they are like new and seem to be nice bits of kit any ideas?

Omega 210 is a Mahe machine and is Slovakian, they have offices in the UK, near Sheffield, so check with them first the availability of spare parts.
Kempii is obviously a very strong brand and will no doubt be a good piece of kit.

) comes up on eBay brand new for next to feck all, so I wouldn't be giving too much for it used.Not sure really as its in an auction as its been reposessed by the courts so there is no reserve so i was thinking of about £150 for the mig and £250
for the tig but i'm not sure if thats cheap, the only mig the same i have found is £700 new is that about right?

Cheers mate thats the one i want really but i was gonna buy the tig if its worth anthing just to sell on then it will make the mig even cheaper but i can't find out what the tig is worth???
Oh right thanks i did'nt know that its only got a normal plug on it, but the actual welder is like new.

(and then auction all those shoes & frocks to pay for the kit!
