I think yours turned out very nice rtbcomp 
I like the colour as its bright yet has the vintage look to it, makes it look like it could of left the factory in that very colour.
To use a more modern type colour you would have to go all out and do it metallic with a spray gun to make an old drill look right in modern colours.
I want to keep it looking like a proper drill from yester year, then I wont get an idiot asking if it can drill through a coca cola tin without breaking.
has it stood up ok to a bit of wear etc ?
what paint did you use ? and would you do it differently if doing again and why ?.
would be good to get that colour in engine enamel.
