How many forum members does it takes to change a light bulb?

I only said change. not dispose of. that would be how many men with clipboards does it take to recycle/dispose of a light bulb

Definitely photos would be needed of the light bulb before it was changed, particularly the printing on it and the new bulb with printing and its box before we could make anything like an informed comment.

If the original poster had already changed the bulb, it would have been far better that he'd asked the forum before just pitching in and using a light bulb from a supermarket because it was cheap, rather than buying a branded light bulb from a mainstream light bulb maker supplied by a specialist light bulb supplier.

Aldi are doing a special offer on light bulbs. I've tried them and they are bit heavy and chunky, not a top flight light bulb but they do have a three year guarantee.

They are really only any good for light use.

That's because they will have shoddy aluminium inside unlike the more professional copper type
