Extract from a CNC mill advertised, sounds simple. Worth a punt or avoid?

Bridgeport R2E3 cnc mill. 3 phase mill that is in excellent condition. Was in full working order but due to previous owner dying was left without power until the memory failed, so would need parameters fed back into it or converted to being pc driven. Viewing and testing is welcome but must be arranged in advance. Can help with loading and possibly delivery but must be organised before the completion of sale. Price is plus vat.

If they have the parameters then it should be an easy enough job to punch them back in and get it going so either there is more wrong with it than that or they don't have the parameters.

It is basically just a series 1 CNC knee mill so if you have a need for something like that then it may be worth a punt if it is cheap enough. You could convert to Mach3 or Linux but personally if I was doing a retrofit I would be thinking along the lines of one of the Chinese controllers such as SZGH.
Whether you go Mach/Linux/SZGH you would probably need to get servo drives as well as the ones on it will almost certainly be analogue command and the retrofit options mentioned would require step/dir drives.
