Hi all, little bit of
How would I know what thickness of steel would a particular job require?
Here's my problem:
I have to build a 'decked area'. I could use the conventional route and use that stuff that grows on trees - But, the deck needs to be of a quarter circle shape, which I cannot find plans for......
SO:
I thought that I may ask you knowledgable folk what you think on building the frame in steel - thinking angle iron, with wooden decking, or making a trough to fill with gravel. This could enable me to get creative & build it 'floating' style ( I hope! )
Sorry, its a bit hard to explian what I'm after (cos I don't know myself!) as the plans keep changing.
The question is: Would it be cost effective, What size (strenght) steel would I require (area approx 7ft X 7ft, approx 2ft high from ground) plus four adults.....
Thanks in advance
