Was thinking that as a last resortCut with a grinder carefully the crimped sleeve on the pipe fitting, remove it, use jubilee clips to attach new cut pipe?
I would be most grateful if you could. I don’t mind sending several beer or tea tokens in returnIf you dont want to cut the end off
I could do you a adapter union
Antonio don’t worry I’m in the middle of making my own adapter. Thanks to @doubleboost for the idea and offer to make one. If I fail @doubleboost gets the commission. NB the end connection is 3/8” - 24 unf not what I thought 1/8” x 28 bsp or m10 x 1.0mmThis would be the correct one to your machine with that torch:

Richard, thanks for advice, I do plan to cut a slot in the original dinse rubber cover and slide overVery nicely done sammy. well done.
Just be careful that nothing in contact with the work return can accidentally touch the brass lump sticking out the machine.
If I was you I’d look at ways to insulate it.
Even something as crude as zapping round it with electrical tape. Could be a disaster if that was to get arced out.
