How best to remove a small gear?

    can i just add when i get a similar problem i give the part some cruel brutal heat then load it up hard with the puller...99.9 % of the time as it cools it pops off ;)

    If a bearing or gear is very tight a rattle with the impact gun on the puller often frees stuff off. The impacts from the guns anvil helps where a spanner or socket is just applying force.
