How are you cooling the house down?

47 degrees C at midday in our conservatory, with the doors open. Phew.
Saw 53 degrees once in my forge, the sweat was running down the inside of my overall trousers. Those guys who once forged anchor chains for the great liners, I take my hat off to them.

i was complaning about the heat and humidity ect i'm not exactly a big fan of it but then i noticed some of the lovely eastern european fruit pickers and i have to say that i now consider this warm weather brilliant

You can get sunburn here anytime actually thanks to France dumping fridges in the pacific, it's eroded the ozone layer, SPF 30+ if I'm working in the sun

Went in the workshop sunday to do a bit,
30 degrees outside and only about 22 degrees inside due to the insulated roof, lovely,

Did a bit of welding but put on the big wall mounted ext fan to pull the fumes out as there was a small amount of powder coat fumes,

Fan sucks in the 30 degree heat from outside,
Workshop now 30 degrees inside, game over

Today i mostly tried to lay roofing felt and it would,nt stick tomorrow ime mostly going to ride motorbikes instead

ive got that comeing on the small extension roof of a garage to do not looking forward to it at least im doing it when its a bit cooler

ive been on way too many roofs and got fully sunburnt and right often however those slates are red hot to even touch they burn your finger tips off whilst handerling them when cutting open a roof to build a dormer

Just need a jumbo sized herd of ruminants to up the methane levels in the atmosphere a bit more

Eat more beans and do it yourself

Alternatively eat more beef so we need more cows which are a great methane producer. I'm surprised being veggie hasn't been legislated in order to curb global warming.
