Hi , in Australia we have 240 volt supply , my house runs all fuses at 20 amps , so what is the highest amperage Arc welder i can use , only do a few rods at a time . The inverter welders , can they run a higher amp range than non inverter on my domestic supply ? , ta.......

5 kW input.... have to see what you can find that requires slightly less say 4-4.5kw

as a guide only... about 150-160A, depends on the efficiency of the design...

Why not get one of your circuits uprated with new cable/sockets so you can buy the welder you want? Obviously you'll be limited by your main incomer...
