Its snake oil, a load of complete rubbish.
1) The very basics of thermodynamics, heat can not be destroyed, it is the lowest form of energy.
2) The pressure can not increase as it flows through the restricted opening, it must decrease (to correspond with an increase in velocity) see Bernoulli effect (it may slightly increase prior to the flow restriction but not by any significant amount)
3) Temperature = thermal energy per unit volume
4) In order to make fluids cold you compress them (this increases their temperature - same thermal energy in a smaller volume) then let the heat escape (lower thermal energy in the same(ish) volume) before expanding it back (same thermal energy now large volume so lower temperature) so they become cooler than they previously where (this is why the back of your fridge is warm, its the heat from out of the fridge).
5) The design has no mechanism for heat dissipation.
6) as per 2 above, the pressure is lowered and hence prior to entering the building, if there is any heat transfer at all (which there probably is not) it would make the air slightly hotter.
7) Whatever (probably immeasurable) heat transfer exists, the air the returns to its previous volume and previous temperature.
It is not about them bringing a bit of comfort to anyone life - its just a big steaming pile of crap that someone will be using to try and scam money out of people.
The next big revolution, take the Eco Cooler out of the window leaving an empty space and increase the airflow through the building - after all if there was enough wind to push any quantity of air through the plastic bottle necks there would be no need for all of the fanning that people in the video are undertaking.
And your talking it.
That's not how a fridge works, it's the compressing of a gas into a liquid and then expansion back again that moves the heat from inside the fridge to the outside.
Doesn't need to, if you speed up the air flow for example with a fan blowing the air at you then you feel cooler because of evaporating cooling.
I take it your not a physics teacher, neither am I but it would appear that at least I paid attention in class.

Lighten up man. I read it as a human interest story and posted it in fun. I don't see anyone trying to sell it it's just using recycled stuff to cool tin shacks..

(joking again)Err so you are obviously unaware that a gas is a fluid which can be compressed into a liquid which is also a fluid?
1) If you look at the video they claim a 5 degree drop in temperature so they are claiming cooling
2) How does placing a large obstruction speed up the air flow - it will significantly slow it down, any increase in air speed possible would probably already be achieved by virtue of the opening in the building, however the effect would be very localised and the air would return to a bulk flow velocity very quickly.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you do not appear to have taken anything like as much notice of your physics teacher as you seem to think, or of the claims made for the Eco-Cooler
