“Micro solution”Lastbodge upI did, just drilled lots of holes down each side, then used a piece of thin ali full of holes on the back clagged with an epoxy adhesive. Smoother off once set.
No it was definatly a bodge. But the micro halford touch up hid the mess, well enough not to affect her trade in price“Micro solution”
The bumper comes off easily. I’ve laced it with cable ties but it got the thumbs downI’ve drilled each side and laced them with cable ties before now. You need access to the back mind.

Wheelie bins, or rather the crap design of lifting and tipping mechanism annoys me. Relatively new garden waste bin bust up the side last year - I noticed next doors had too. I bolted a bit of scrap sheet metal up the inside, but when the renewal time came up, I simply ticked the box for needing a bin - and they delivered a new one - and swapped next doors too as they noticed hers was bust. Usually hey want to charge you.I've done that with our wheely bin, it's quite acceptable on there.

I was quite proud of what I did. Cable ties were almost the same colour as the bumper, what more could a person want?I've done that with our wheely bin, it's quite acceptable on there.
Up here you get the red sticker of doom.Wheelie bins, or rather the crap design of lifting and tipping mechanism annoys me. Then my normal waste bin bust in the same area - but as its lasted a few years, you can see where the lifting and tipping bar hits it, flexes it and eventually breaks it - half way up the front. Should be braced a lot lower down nearer the floor as they lift it. Removed the scrap sheet metal from garden bin and bolted it in the waste bin - I think next step will be reinforcing around the side and back at the point where I can see the lifting bar hits it. I object to having to pay for a new one due to a crap design of lifting mechanism.
