Hot melt glue guns

Are they all much the same or are there stand out ones? I've a cheap one, Marksman, and it's useful enough I think I want a better one. Any suggestions or comments?

I ditched my cheap one for a Bosch. Heats up much quicker and and will push the stick through as fast as you need it due to the extra wattts. Well priced too compared to other more professional guns

I've got a rubbish one. I bought a Bosch one with my (ex) employers money as they had some obscure one that needed special diameter sticks.

The Bosch one was a fair bit better. Not light and day but certainly worth spending someone else's money on.

When my rubbish one finally brakes completely, I'll get myself one of the Bosch units. But probably not before I have to.

Cant remember the name but I have a good quality butane powered one, Just fill the tank and it worked great, plus totally mobile.

Just a cheapy Lidl one here, but I don't use it much so it's perfectly adequate.

I have one of the old blue lidl/parkside ones which worked well but took ages to heat up.

Recently I bought a cordless one in lidl & it is brilliant. Heats up in a minute, 2ah battery does 30 mins & its nice & light to use with no cord getting in the way!

I agree, that's why I only bought a cheap one when I realised I had a use for one, and why I replaced it with a better one when I found it wanting.

The new one, a Bosch linked to above, heats up quicker, is more controlable and has electric string more than about a foot long.
