hot dip galvanising and old paint?

I'm soon to get my landrove bulkhead hot dipped, but there is a tiny amount of paint left in some of the bits I can't easily get to.

This is due to me thinking the blasting would remove seam filler (and the paint below) when evidently it does not.

I can take of back to the blaster, but I'm running out of time.

So -

Whats the situation? I'm not fussed about cosmetics, as its areas that won't be seen, but I want to keep out the tin worm.

The galvanisers I've used do NOT like any paint. I don't know precisely why but it must screw up something in the process.

Burn it of with oxy-propane if you can't get in there to physically remove it?

The pickling and fluxing process doesn't get paint off so the galv won't stick to it and you get horrible flakey black patches.
Tiny bits won't matter, but not gert lumps of it

I have no easy way of getting shot of the last bits like that, and its often just where the water will lurk too.
