Been on my to-do list for a while and bought the 3/8 butterfly impact wrench last year so thought i would have a crack at it . There are various designs i have seen so tried to use various elements that i could see would make wrench .
this was the wrench I bought just over £20 if i remember right
A quick scan of the web produced these different designs , i cant claim to be original it it needed to use parts from the scrap bin where i could
There is a collar under the rubber boot that some people have used to mount the wrench but i opted for top mount as it seemed less likely to spin
Then some cereal box sketches and measurements as most of the design was in my head
Found a nice piece of 12mm ally , this was actually the first piece i cut and turned out too narrow . Definitely a measure twice cut once situation
