so for the new year I intend to make myself a hydraulic bending machine as ive settled to what i want to build
all I want to bend is 3mm and 5mm the 3mm in full size and the 5mm within 14/16"
the bender must be moveable so will have transport wheels attached to it or it stays outside in all weathers
im wanting to build the upwards ram method so that it can stay small in size
im aware of rsj strength through the building trade so can use it on the bottom bar for the jack to sit upon the top bar can also be used in the same way but I dont think i could use it on the middle moveable bar due to the double v needed at this point im not so sure at this point
using the rsjs at these points keeps the weight much lower to wheel around
parts that i have already is
2 x 4" x 2 u channel 10/5mm/10mm 1 meter wide not sure im using these as of yet
2 x 4" 5mm box section
h beam or as i know it an rsj beam x2 1 meter 6" x 3"
hydraulic pump jack 15 ton but i will be upgrading this to a 30 ton jack even better if used with the air jacks nowadays
do you guys have any suggestions ?
the top bar is removeable and held by drilled pins at either side which i presume has to be torque sized this will be through the 4" box section and holds the top bar in place while pushing against it
