a good site for home made tools. worth a visit http://www.homemadetools.net/
I was cutting and bending a load of flat bar today to make a brazier and you know what I would really love? Something with 2 counter-rotating wheels you can feed the metal through for taking the rust and mill scale off.
quite a lot of the gear people have made on here are on that site even though it wasnt posted there so it goes to show who is watching us on here
I was just thinking that, every tool I clicked on seemed to lead back here.
Bookmarked. There's some great stuff on there that I could have used in the past. I like the Hole duplicator. WOuld have made making my door cards for my mini a bit easier.

Welcome to the forum Ken.
Hi Ken, welcome to the forum, you may even pick up a few ideas here?
Welcome Ken. Nice to see you giving proper credit to the authors unlike another site which just robs the material and presents it as original.
Loads of great stuff there.
Hi Ken. Good site
Thanks for the kind words and welcomes. Lots of great tools and ideas here, too.
We're all about proper credit to original authors. As builders ourselves, we wouldn't have it any other way.
put few bits on there and copied few ideas to make life easier.
Just a question regarding the tools and the site - are there any details of how to make the tools or what materials are needed? The photographs are good but sometimes only tell half the story. I guess the level of detail is down to the original poster/fabricator.
join the site and u can probably pm them and get details or u can see the write up on original post
Bad site. Very bad site. You shouldn't put something out in the open like that, who knows how many tool addicts like myself might see it.
Just kidding Excellent work
I have already started on a power punch with a few ideas off the site: Damn..
Temptation should be regulated for addicts.
There are a few different hole finders
