Langy, what gauge alluminium could you do with the Qmax? I've got a feeling it'll tend "clog" a bit. I've used them before on stainless but they weren't mine.
Anybody tried these?

Langy - by dimple die do you mean swage the engs of the hole in for strength & smoothness? If so that's exactly what I'm planning on doing - so cutting holes in 3mm steel is not even on the radar - I just need them for up to 1.5mm mild steel. Maybe 2mm ally at a push.
The other benefit is I can buy the Q max cutters in the same size as the swage tools.
Do you need to lubricate them at all (the Q max cutters?)
And any where you know that is cheap to buy them?
