get the hss bi metal ones cheap as chips from screwfix slow speed firm pressure and use decent cutting compound and back off regular to clear swarfOkay what's the deal here then?
Sheet steel, holesaws - slow speed gentle but firm pressure & loads of oil?
Are toothed saws or the silicon carbide ones better? Do the carbide ones still need lubrication?
Thanking you!
i think theres less run off with constant pitch rather than variable as the saw doesnt cut evenly and pulls to one sideOver the last year or so i have been using constant pitch holesaws which give much less grief compared to the variable pitch type.
