right, so now I know im not doing anything wrong in how my business was formed, all my brother has to do is speak to hmrc and tell them he is trading as a sole trader under his own name and all will be good?

cheers, have just given him that link and the contact info for hmrc to register for self assessment. he will just be trading under his name, not a business name so no issues there. the good news out of all this is, I can sub him for work when I do jobs where the customer is halfway through a renovation and want to know if in know any cheap decorators
