You must have had more than a mini lathe to produce this masterpiece surely? Any pictures of your workshop/equipment? I just really enjoy looking at other people's set ups.

Thanks - I did quite a lot in the 4 jaw chuck and have made a toolpost drill for the lathe. Other than that:

Small pillar drill (B&Q circa 1995)
Belt sander (comes in very handy!)
I used a woodworking jigsaw and mitre saw (with a multi material blade) for roughing out.
Vice,
Files,
Hacksaw
Emery paper
Two blowlamps for silver soldering the crank
Can't think of anything else I used.

I'd have to be pretty drunk to overcome the embarrassment of showing the state of my shed!
