Appreciate their power tools etc are held in high regard. Anyone rate their HSS drill bits? Do they make them or are the made by another manufacturer for them?
Not sure, but I know I've seen some "Hilti" branded drill bits very cheap. They were utter crap as the price suggested. If your seeing cheap ones, it's probably some chinese liqourice badged as hilti!
I got a free set of Hilti HSS drill bits - 1-13mm. They stay as a 'best' set on the big drill. So far all still present and none broken/blunt etc. I think they were 30 quid a set.
I'd buy a set.

Had hilti the other day demoing the HSS Stepped drill bit
one of the best drill bits ive bought for the guys in work
on the plus side with hilti i snap the tip on the 4mm bit and
they replaced with a new one.
We buy the masonry bits off Hilti, they have a warranty along the lines of if the tip breaks they will replace it FOC. Handy when the lads are trying to drill through 30mm rebar.
All in all, their stuff is pretty good IMO.
