Thank you all - I had indeed looked on a certain auction site and found nothing in UK which is why I wondered if I was looking in the right place!
I had thought about the microscope on an arbor solution as I have one of those Boley UFR hybrids between a jig borer and a small mill, but the dials aren't really accurate enough to be classed as a jig borer and there's not enough Z travel for convenient milling, but it is very good at making tiny parts.
