Well i did my evening walk which was at 8.30 pm only about 1.5 miles and had a chat with a few locals so not back till 9.30 after a cuppa i did my blood pressure and good news it was 150/99 so i feel happier.
Im on lisinopril too, discovered in a similar way work medical heavy smoker mid divorce. Stopped smoking, completed divorce, living normal life. Was put on statins too but had continous aches and pains so stopped them, aches and pains gone away.
I suffer a bit with white coat syndrome. So go to docs for blood pressure its up, so few years ago medic at work did mine every day, and gave me a calibrated machine to use nightly....away from docs its normal, go its always up a bit.
I was a little confused earlier had to re read your dogging post twice, but any excercise is good excercise

.
Very good. The Spanish road cyclist Miguel Indurain, famously had a very low resting heart beat at 28bpm. (Average is 60-72bpm) When I was racing I managed to get mine down to 36bpm. Twenty yrs later and it was 43bpm this morning.
