Hello all gaz here, just became a born again welder, thought i'd gave up after 14 years of the habit, seems that like smoking you never realy give up.
started as a "die tech" at the nissan plant in washington welding and otherwise bodging press tools, but after 12 years there is only so much factory you can take, went to sea for 6 month, then did ally fab/weld for 6 month, now working as a tamper operator making the railway lines nice and smooth (and keeping people awake all night with the delightfull noise of a 60 ton windy pick on rails)
