My opinion is it's not a good buy, the loss of choice to run gasless or gas could be regretted further down the line.

A much better buy would be a dual purpose machine.

A bit more free time to expand my last answer:

Very often when new to mig welding people look for the cheapest machine that they think will do their requirements.

It is not long before they realise it was not the best of ideas, the machine is limited, difficult to use and underpowered for those jobs they want to do as the skill develops, they then lose money on their original purpose and purchase what they should have purchased in the first place, ends up being costly.

As a minimum for a keen hobby welder I would suggest something like a Clarke 135 or 150, very capable machines with good spares back up.

Defo get dual purpose.
gasless is crap In my opinion.
Been there, done that.

You could use an arc welder for chassis work.?

Yeh mig is much better than gasless, stick is fine if you are confident, Mabey not so good for someone who has never welded before should see if thers someone local that can let you have a shout of their machines to let you see the difference
