Hi Everyone,
I'm actually from the UK but lived here since 97.
My pathetic little business is tight access excavation but the last four years I've been setting up my beloved workshop. This is my arsenal of toys:
My home built CNC plasma cutter. Cutting envelope 2.4 x 1.5 metres. Uses a Hypertherm 1250 (80 amp) with Duramax machine torch. Initial height sensing and automatic height control during cutting. Can pierce and cut 3/4" steel.
Lathe - 1.5m between centres, 80 bore, and about a 400 swing without the gap removed (do peope ever remove that)
Bridgeport style mill
Floor standing pedestal drill
Bandsaw
330 amp mig
arc welder with basic scratch start tig function
Hydraulic press
Artistic CAD - Coreldraw
3D solid modelling cad - Alibre Design
Basic 2D cad - Draftsight and SolidEdge2D
Basic oxy acetylene hand setup.
It hasn't earned me a cent yet, but I'm working on that. Heaps and heaps of learning, but I'm getting there. Been a long slow tiring and expensive process.
