just registered and thought i'd say hi.
i've never done any welding in my life but want to learn and this seems a very informative forum here and i have a few q's if thats ok
i have just acquired a 1983 ford fiesta which is going to need some welding as part of restoring it and have been reading up on mig welders. it seems that the clarke en90 would be the welder to go for as it can do both gas and gasless welding.
one question i have is regarding the minimum current when welding body panels, does it have to be 30 amps? if not what sort of amps would be acceptable, ie 60amps minimum for example as some other types of welder do not go down to 30amps
regards
danny
