how we doing guy's, i'm lewis. great site. helped me realise i havn't forgotten nearly half as much as i thought.

well got a job interview today with a weld test afterwards. i aint done any welding of any kind for two years. lol hope i can get a practise run or too.

as my dad said to me last night "it's like riding a bike, they called you in on the strength of your cv, so know you've not done any fabrication work for two years so they'l take that into consideration."

hope he's right.

well wish me luck an i will let you all know how i got on when i get back.
maybe be able to give a pointer or two also.

cheers guys.

interview went really well. as did my weld test, infact my welding is almost as good as it was two an a wee bit years ago.

been told i'll get a phone call at the beggining of next week, to let me know whether i got the job or not. tho the interviewer was very positive towards me so i hope thats a good sign.

bout time i got back into the real world lol.

i served my apprenticeship with my dad's company, he folded the buisness in november 07 and tbh there was no work where we were, none at all for a fabricator welder, and what work there was it wasn't worth the travelling for the money, so i went back to college to study computer's, did that an guess what, no jobs in that line of work now lol. so i'm down in notts now, and there is more work for a fabricator welder here than back home so i hope to get a job "in the real world" soon. be better than friggin bar work lol.
